Food Exports exceeded 2.6 billion L.E compared with 1.3 billion L.E. in 2003. The percentage of increase represents 47%. Milk products come in the first place with a value of 560 million L.E. Frozen vegetables come next with a value of 250 million L.E. The value of exports from juices are 210 million L.E. and 140 million L.E. for dried sweets.The highest percentage in exports was frozen vegetables with 53% followed by milk products with an increase of 42% compared to 2003/2004 season. Food industry exports are expected to increase by 25-30% in 2005.
