Rice Exports Reach 200 Thousands Tons by The Beginning of The Season

Rice exports last season reached 420 million USD and 200 thousands tons by the beginning of this season. Rice export come in the first place for agricultural products exports during last years. Rice export represents 8% of the total agricultural products exported to the global market. The committee of the exporting counsel is working on increasing the export of rice to Europe in the frame of Egyptian European cooperation agreement.
