H.H.Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah at Al Dhait Palace received Ali Bin Saeed Al Sharhan, President of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development. Al Qasimi hailed the efforts of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment in strengthening the Arab food security through the implementation of agricultural projects and the development and utilization of agricultural resources in the Arab world as well as international and regional cooperation with the concerned international organizations.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr also asserted that the Arab world is bestowed with all essential elements of success in the agricultural investment field enabling it to achieve self-sufficiency in agriculture crops and strategic commodities. During the meeting, he was also briefed on the Authority's new vision which seeks to support the Arab agricultural investment and finding free agricultural markets in the Arab world contributing to the support of Arab products. Meanwhile, Al Sharhan emphasized that there are a number of future initiatives that will contribute in the achievement of the Authority's objectives, including a number of partnerships with the private sector in the field of strategic food commodities and strengthening its productivity.
