A recent report by the Information and decision Support Center (IDSC) to increase 57.2% in ad hoc support for public transport in Cairo from 2007/2008 to 2011/2012 where it reached 690 million pounds in the budget of the years "2011/2012" for about 438.7 million pounds the years 2007/2008. The report pointed out the high value of the support for the transfer of Alexandria passengers at about 26.9% during the same period to reach 160.8 million pounds in the fiscal year 2007/2008.
