Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri discussed bilateral relations between Egypt and Sudan as well as measures adopted to enhance land and river transportation between the two Nile courtiers. Attending the meeting were the ministers of transportation, foreign affairs and industry and trade and other related officials.
A land transportation cooperation protocol will be signed soon between Egypt and Sudan, said Fayza Abul Naga, the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, during a joint press conference with the Minister of Transport. The cooperation protocol is likely to be signed on June 24 and it will include all procedures of bilateral operations and cooperation, said Abul Naga. This reflects a new vision for transport and commerce in the Nile Valley, she added.
