Egyptian Gov’t Keen on Encouraging, Boosting Investors

Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Hatem Saleh has asserted that the government was keen on encouraging national, Arab and foreign investors to increase their current investments and pump new ones into the country.

During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed al-Qattan on 5/9/2012, Saleh said the ministry seeks to expand ongoing projects or carry out new ventures to provide more job opportunities.

Thursday meeting comes in preparation for Saudi Minister of Commerce Tawfiq al-Rabiah's visit to Egypt next week, he said.

The meeting discussed means to promote joint economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries and open up new vistas of cooperation in the coming period, added Saleh.
