Egyptian-Chinese Investment Cooperation Probed

Minister of Investment Yehia Hamed conferred on 4/6/2013 with Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo on means of developing and doubling the Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in the field of investment.

Discussions also tackled following up the development operations carried out by the Chinese side in the North West Gulf of Suez economic zone.

Hamed asserted Egypt's keenness on realizing more partnerships between the two sides and continuing coordination with the Chinese side to increase the investment opportunities of the Chinese mega projects in Egypt. Aiguo, on his part, asserted his country's keenness on boosting economic and investment cooperation with Egypt through doubling the volume of Chinese investments in Egypt.
