A session of Egyptian-Italian political talks were held in the Foreign Ministry headquarters.
Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Hatem Seif el-Nasr represented the Egyptian side and Secretary General of the Italian Foreign Ministry Michele Valensise represented the Italian side. The talks tackled Egyptian-Italian relations and means of enhancing joint cooperation. Valensise said that Italy is keen on increasing its investments in Egypt, asserting that Italy supports Egypt in combating terrorism and draining off its sources. |
