Oil and Minerals Minister Hussein al-Kaf discussed here on Monday with US ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller mutual investment cooperation relations in oil and gas sectors.
During the meeting, al-Kaf stressed the importance to promote investment cooperation in oil and gas sectors, praising the US embassy's keenness to expand US investments in Yemen. He also renewed Yemen's welcome to the US companies to invest in oil and gas sectors. For his part, Tueller expressed the desire of numerous US companies to meet Yemeni officials at the Oil Ministry on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) to be held on November 2014 to review the investment opportunities in petroleum sector in Yemen. |
