President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received on 22/10/2014 former prime minister Hazem el-Beblawi who has just assumed the post of executive manager of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said President Sisi congratulated the former prime minister on taking this important economic post, wishing him success. He said the President discussed with Beblawi relations between Egypt and the IMF, taking into consideration the 2010 review by the IMF of Egypt's economy and the IMF intention to take part in an international economic conference due to be held in Cairo in February 2015. Youssef added that the meeting took up means to develop Egypt's relations with the international financial institutions in the coming stage. |
