Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said that the newly-launched Suez Canal project stands as Egypt's national project for the 21st century.
"We should make use of Egypt's distinguished location in restoring our leading role at the political and economic levels," Mamish said. Mamish made the statements during a meeting with a 50-member delegation of the Fine Artists Association. In a related context, Mamish said that there is a remarkable improvement in the Suez Canal revenues, noting that indicators affirm that the Suez Canal is on its way to achieve the highest revenues in its history. In exclusive statements to Al-Ahram daily, Mamish asserted that the work in the New Suez Canal is on full swing, pointing out that the project would witness a remarkable improvement in the dredging works as of next Friday. |
