Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr held talks with Hafez Ghanem, the Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa, on fostering bilateral relations.
This came on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group in the Peruvian capital of Lima. In a press release, the International Cooperation Ministry said the minister asserted that the Egyptian government is adopting an economic reform plan that aims to promote investments, enhance people's standard of living and achieve social justice. Meanwhile, Nasr pointed out at the 2015-2019 partnership between Egypt and the World Bank, adding that the Egyptian government gives top priority to the preparation of this partnership. In the meantime, Ghanem appreciated Egypt's efforts to enhance the investment climate, underlining that the WB is ready to support the Egyptian government to achieve its development goals. |
