Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla announced reaching an agreement with presidents of four international oil companies operating in Egypt to speed up finishing projects of the recently discovered oil fields to join the production line.
He said the presidents of the foreign companies affirmed their commitment towards the announced plan and pumping new investments in Egypt according to agreements concluded with the ministry. The minister made these remarks after meeting with the presidents of the Emirati Dana Gas, British Gas, Malaysia's PetroliamNasional Bhd (Petronas), and the French gas and power group Engie. |
