The Egyptian-Sudanese joint committee assigned to follow up operations at border crossing approved opening Arjin crossing, which will link the land road extending from Alexandria to Cape Town in South Africa.
During the committee’s sixth meeting that was hosted by the Sudanese Foreign Ministry in Khartoum, representatives from both sides hailed cooperation between the two neighbors that resulted in the inauguration of Qastal-Ashkeet border crossing on April 30, 2015. They reviewed the operation at the crossing and lauded the successful experience at economic, security and social levels. |
