Rice exports this season since october 2004 till now have reached 805 thousand tons. This figure represents an
increase of 355 thousand tons than over last season. A report from the national association for monitoring exports and imports said that the private sector companies exported 765 thousand tons while the public sector companies exported 40 thousand tons.
62 countries imported the egyptian rice, among them 5 countries with a share of 65% of the total exports, these countries are Syria,Turkey, Libya, Singapore, and Romania. |
