Agricultural exports this season (2004/2005) have reached $1350 million. This figure might increase as the
season still have two weeks to go. It is expected that the total income from agricultural exports will reach $2200
million for the period between 2005 and 2010, and $4.5 bn by the end of 2015.
Dr.sherif Elmaghraby the head of the committee of agricultural products said that a contract will be signed with a multinational consultancy company this month. This contract aims to put a strategy to increase the Egyptian agricultural exports. |
