Italian Support to Urgent Development Projects in Egypt

Egypt's Minister for Planning and International Cooperation has negotiated with the Italian Ambassador to Cairo the activation of the third trench of a debt swap package valued at Euro 100 million as a part of an agreement signed in Rome May 20/10. This was reported in the media indicating that meetings extended to cooperation priorities in the next stage. Meanwhile, the Minister has expressed her appreciation to the recent Italian support to urgent development projects in the country including a L.E. 25 million automatic bread baking complex in Sheikh Zayed City and to another similar complex of the same value in Kalioubiya.
