Investment Minister Sahar Nasr said that the improvement that Egypt has witnessed in the World Bank’s doing business index was attributed to the reforms implemented and the close cooperation among different governmental bodies.
Nasr’s remarks came in a video conference with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation to review a recent report on doing business index 2020. As many as 66 governmental and non-governmental bodies cooperated among themselves to establish the investor service centers, aimed at easing all the measures for doing business in the Egyptian market, she said. The minister pointed out that Egypt has advanced six ranks in the report, thanks to its successful economic reform program, adding that the country is resolved to continue its reforms and improve its investment climate. |
